Personally, these insurers ought to be contacted. I think it is an outrage that this kind of a settlement has been reached, when the public outcry is still asking for the answers. These insurers have every reason to fund a private investigation or a civil suit against Silverstein to force the answers to the question of how these buildings came down. This crap sickens me.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - New York Governor Eliot Spitzer on Wednesday said seven World Trade Center insurers had reached a $2 billion settlement that resolves "all outstanding" claims, ending nearly six years of legal battles.
World Trade Center Developer Larry Silverstein had fought the insurers in the courts since jet attacks toppled the twin towers on September 11, 2001.
The Democratic governor in a statement said the accord "removes the last major obstacle to development at Ground Zero." He added the insurers are: Travelers Companies, Inc., Zurich American Insurance Company, Allianz Global Risks Insurance Company, Swiss Re and its Industrial Risk Insurers, Employers Insurance Company of Wausau, and Royal Indemnity Company.
